Buddies

Here's a few pictures of Mason and his buddy Gabe. Gabe is my neighbor's almost 6 month old son. I took this pics while out on a walk with Crystal. The weather has been so fabulous this week that we've been outside everyday after I pick Mase up. I hear that the weather is suppose to get colder right in time for the weekend...go figure! I went to Babies R Us in Allen on my lunch break today because one of my friends is having a baby shower this weekend...actually I have a baby shower every weekend in the month of March. Wild. Anyways...I was really good I looked at only the items that I planned on buying for the shower gift and then got the hell out of there. Everyone has there spring line out and I'm trying like hell to wait until that stuff goes on sale. Shouldn't be long.

Spring it in the air….

Which translates to shopping for me. I stopped by Old Navy while I was out running a few work errands and picked up two of the cutest pairs of shoes for “The Boy”! What do you think? So cute right? They had a ton of cute womens clothes too, but I was in a hurry and went straight to the little boys' section. I think I will be stopping back by on my lunch break tomorrow to spend some more time...and money!

Okay...who stole my baby?!?!

He looks like such a little man…we are about a week shy of 8 months. His newest favorite things to do are growl at daddy (I have to catch this on video) and razz…also known as blowing lots of bubbles. If Scott growls at him Mason does it right back…sooo freakin cute! Last night after our nightly nursing session he just looked up at me with those big blue eyes and smiled so I sat him up with his legs straddling me and I would say his name ever so softly and then he would laugh and bury his face in my chest and then I would through my arms around him and squeeze him. This went on for about 15 minutes…such a tender moment. Have a mentioned how much I love this little guy?!?! He melts my heart every time I see his face. I feel so special these days because whenever I enter the room that Mase is in his face light up when he sees Mommy.

TGIF

It’s Friday…It’s Friday…picture me doing a little “Happy Dance”. The week has been a quick and busy one. Little sweet cheeks has cut his first two teeth. Hallelujah…Praise the LORD!!! They’ve just broke through the skin so I can’t get the whole picture of what he’s going to look like with his little toothies.

On another note our Cabo vacation is booked and only 5 short months away…Here are a few pics to make you jealous!

It Must Be MONDAY!!!!

Mornin! Mase woke up several time last night with his teething bothering him so Scott and I had to take turns going up stairs rubbing some orajel and consoling him. Needless to say...when 5:30 am came it was a tad bit challenging to get my butt out of bed....2 cups of coffee later and I'm out the door. Once I make it to the office I have to visit the restroom where I find that I've put my panties on inside out (not much I can do about it at this point)...so I guess this is how this day is going to go!

Sunday Funday

Morning Ya'll. Well I'm just try to squeeze a little blogging in before the little one wakes up...I can already hear him playing in his crib. The weekend has almost come and gone. We had a lay ed back weekend. Yesterday we took Mason to JcPenny to get his 7 month portraits made and he did really well...several big smiles, but we had to end the session a little early because he had a big burp with lots of spit-up to follow. After that it was nap time for Mason and Scott and
I caught up on a few show that we had on the DVR. Once Mason woke up we went down to Stephanie's. Stephanie has two children: Caitlyn (4) and Brent (17 months). I can already tell that Mason can not wait to start playing with them...he get so excited when he sees them running around...fun time a head. Today we plan to mostly just hang. I have a few housekeeping items to do and a few loads of laundry, but other then that I will just be spending time with the hubby and my adorable son!

This is a little late, but while I'm thinking of it. On January 18th, Mason was baptized at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas. All of the family were there. Even Scott's brother and brother's family flew in from Baltimore for the occasion. My sister (Laura) and Scott's Brother (Chris) are his God Parents. We are so lucky to have them. I've attached a few pics from this wonderful occasion.

I enjoyed out visit so much…I think GOD everyday that I have been blessed with such wonderful parents who play such an active role in my son’s life. Thank you Mom and Dad I love you sooooo much! Before I was a Mom

Before I was a MomI made and ate hot meals.I had unstained clothing.I had quiet conversations on the phone. Before I was a Mom,I slept as late as I wantedAnd never worried about how late I got into bed.I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday. Before I was MomI cleaned my house each day.I never tripped over toys or forgot words of lullabies. Before I was a MomI didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a MomI had never been puked onPooped onSpit onChewed onPeed onOr pinched by tiny fingersBefore I was a MomI had complete control of:My thoughtsMy bodyAnd my mind.I slept all night. Before I was a MomI never held down a screaming childSo that doctors could do testsOr give shots.I never looked into teary eyes and cried.I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a MomI never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down.I never felt my heart break into a million piecesWhen I couldn't stop the hurt.I never knew that something so smallCould affect my life so much.I never knew that I could love someone so much.I never knew I would love being a Mom.Before I was a MomI didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.I didn't know that bond between a Mother and her child.I didn't know that something so smallCould make me feel so important. Before I was a MomI had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okayI had never known the warmthThe joyThe loveThe heartacheThe wonderOr the satisfaction of being a Mom.I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
