To say I'm grumpy this morning would totally be an understatement! Went to be last night about 10:ish and this dog that has lived in the house behind us for about 6ish months did nothing but bark it's head off. After about 2 hours of listening to him I finally got up threw a bra on, got in my car and marched my butt up to there door...I knocked...no answer...I knocked again...no answer. So, I come home and call the police department and they said they would take care of it, but the dog never stopped barking. From our upstairs guest room I can see their whole back yard and back of their house. I kind of feel bad for the dog because he's just standing at the back door barking...can they not hear him? From the looks of their blinds (which look like they've made an appearance in Shark Week) I guess maybe I can see why the don't let him in, but I have a large dog and there's no way I would let Griff annoy the hood like that. UGH!!! What would you guys do? I have to get my sleep.
And for the first time Drew kept me up because he was doing the back stroke most of the night.

We have three big dogs around us that bark all night long too. It's just our nightly background noise every night now. Annoying.
I think our neighbors are related to that dog :) We are surrounded by three houses with very loud neighbors who are outside on their patio watching tv all the time and they are SO loud, we actually had to put a shutter over our kitchen window to try and block out noise (doesn't help all that much), we just have to call the cops on them all the time. It's annoying and "I" feel bad about it, but it's really "their problem". They also have a dog that they make bark, it's so annoying. Sorry!!
The poor thing has been in and out all day today - and I peeked into their backyard. It looks like they have hit up every garage sale in the area. Shady people. Hopefully they keep him inside tonight.
Did you say that you have a food blog? I'd love to read it!
